Recommended: include two email addresses on Form 1
Did you know that political committees have the option to add a second email address to their contact information? By adding a second email address on your FEC Form 1 (Statement of Organization), your committee will receive important FEC notifications at both email addresses — a backup that can come in especially handy during the upcoming summertime months. In addition to providing the treasurer’s email address, it is highly recommended to provide the assistant treasurer or designated agent’s email address — someone who can act on behalf of the treasurer, if needed.
