Independent Expenditures Webinar added to meet demand

March 9, 2020

Due to high demand for the March 18 Independent Expenditures Webinar, the Commission has added a second session on March 19 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern.

During the interactive webinar, FEC staff will discuss the rules and reporting requirements that apply to political committees—including Super PACs and Hybrid PACs—individuals and organizations that make independent expenditures. FEC staff will also review the difference between independent expenditures and coordinated communications, analyze disclaimer requirements, and walk participants through several reporting scenarios.
