Projected 2020 election dates

August 23, 2019

The Commission has published a preliminary list of 2020 presidential and congressional primary election dates. These dates are subject to change. Corresponding FEC reporting dates will be posted by the first of the year.

Please note that state laws and procedures govern primary election dates and how candidates come to appear on election ballots. Questions concerning a state’s election dates and ballot access process should be directed to the state’s election authority.
