January 23, 2018

Thumbnail cover image from the FEC Campaign Guide for Corporations and Labor Organizations, October 2017The Commission has posted on its website an updated Campaign Guide for Corporations and Labor Organizations. The new Guide, which replaces the 2007 edition, provides an overall summary of the campaign finance laws that apply to corporations, labor organizations, trade associations, and incorporated membership organizations, and their separate segregated funds (SSFs).

A PDF version of the updated Guide is available at https://www.fec.gov/resources/cms-content/documents/colagui.pdf. To make online navigation easier, Guide content has also been divided into topics and presented in HTML on the FEC's website at https://www.fec.gov/help-candidates-and-committees/guides/?tab=corporations-and-labor-organizations.

Printed copies of the Guide will be available in the next several weeks. Watch the Record for details.
